(This page is for sponsorship only and does not include admission to the dinner)

The National Economists Club (NEC) is welcoming sponsors for this year's very special Annual Dinner, at the Chamber of Commerce, Hall of Flags Room (1615 H Street NW, Washington, DC 20001), the evening of Tuesday, November 19.

(Those who contribute prior to close of business on November 1 will be listed in the printed dinner program. Those who contribute between November 2 and November 18 will be listed on a program insert, distributed at the dinner.)  All sponsors contributing through December 31 will be added to the electronic version of the program, which will serve throughout 2014 as NEC's key marketing document. Their names and logos will also be seen throughout 2014 on NEC’s website. Our goal is to remind as many people as possible of our sponsors' generosity. The gala dinner will be preceded by a reception, our keynote speaker, and other activities to be announced later:

Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board will deliver the second annual NEC Herbert Stein Memorial Lecture. Nobel Laureate Edmund S. Phelps delivered the first Stein lecture in 2013.

Levels of Sponsorship

NEC is offering five levels of sponsorship, and the level of sponsorship will be indicated in the program. Contribution amounts are:

  •          Platinum:   $2,000
  •          Gold:  $1,000
  •          Silver:     $500
  •          Bronze:  $250
  •      Copper:  $125

You can become a sponsor by clicking on the Register button and choose the level of sponsorship that you wish. If you have any questions, contact Tom Oakley, NEC Co-Vice President for Programs (thomas_oakley@yahoo.com) or (571) 217-1037. Revenues from sponsorships will help NEC defray the costs of the dinner and to build an even more ambitious 2014 program. NEC is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organization, and our Tax Exempt number for tax deductions is 23-7008711. Sponsorship contribution is separate from ticket purchase for the actual event.

The Dinner Program: Attendees will receive a professionally designed and printed program. This document will be used extensively in 2014 to market NEC  and our activities.
