“The Anatomy of Misguided U.S. Monetary Policy: 1987-2012

 A critique of inflation targeting will be presented. A diagnosis of the U.S.'s schizophrenic post-Lehman monetary policy stance -- very loose Fed-produced state money and very tight bank money -- will be presented. Prescriptions for correcting America's conflicted monetary policy and the resulting credit crunch will also be presented.
