Join the National Economists Club and the Beer Institute for beer and a discussion on economics. Michael Uhrich, Chief Economist of the Beer Institute, will speak about developments in the beer industry and recent trends in production, consumption, and policy.
Michael Uhrich supports the Beer Institute’s members and their interests by providing analytical and economic research on the alcohol industry. A beer industry veteran, he worked for several years at MillerCoors, most recently leading the Insights Department’s Marketplace Intelligence team. Michael holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Marquette University. He is also a Certified Cicerone through the Cicerone Certification Program and an avid home brewer.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 18th from 5:30-7:30 PM and will be held at Anheuser-Busch’s new invite-only pub, which the Washingtonian has called ‘the best-hidden bar in DC’.
