"What is the United States' Economic Potential (and Economic Perspectives)"

Jeff Schlagenhauf serves as the Associate Director for Economic Policy at the Executive Office of the President’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB).  In that role, he serves as OMB’s chief economic advisor and plays a key role in the process of developing the Administration’s economic assumptions used in formulating the President’s budget.   

Prior to joining the Administration, Jeff owned and operated c2a3 solutions llc, a research and consulting firm.  Among Jeff’s clients was the Trump for President campaign for which he served as an Economic Policy Advisor. 

Previously, Jeff served as a senior member of the Congressional Joint Economic Committee for more than eleven years, including as the committee’s Executive Director.   His other professional experiences included serving as President of a national trade association and as Chief of Staff to former U.S. Representative Thomas J. Bliley.

Jeff is a graduate of the College of William and Mary.  Nearly twenty years after graduating he was appointed by former Virginia Governor James Gilmore to serve on the college’s Board of Visitors.
