Paul Atkins is chief executive of Patomak Global Partners, LLC, a consulting firm to international and domestic corporations and financial services firms that provides strategic risk management and regulatory compliance services, corporate governance advice, and enforcement and litigation support. From 2002-2008, Mr. Atkins served as a commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to his government service, he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, which he joined after serving on the staffs of SEC chairmen Richard C. Breeden and Arthur Levitt. Mr. Atkins began his career as a lawyer with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and Paris.
