Export-Import Bank

"Background and Current Status"

Now that the Export-Import Bank has been reauthorized what is the debate about its current leadership structure and what are its programs, policies, and activities.

As the Senior Vice President for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, Gulick oversees the Export-Import Bank s outreach to Congress, Governors, State Legislators, Mayors, and serves as the primary point of contact for those elected officials Members of Congress and their staff. Prior to joining the Bank in October 2014, for the past six years, Gulick served as a senior congressional advisor on international trade, banking, and tax policy matters. She most recently served as a Senior Advisor to Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington state where she spent much of her time focused on matters before the Senate Finance Committee. Prior to that position, Gulick worked in the United States House of Representatives as a Senior Legislative Assistant to Representative Ron Kind of Wisconsin, assisting him in his role on the House Ways & Means Committee and prior to that worked with former Representative Ellen Tauscher of California.

Before working on Capitol Hill, Gulick managed policy and regulatory matters at the state and federal level for the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Trade Association and Beam Suntory, Inc. Gulick holds a Master s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and German Area Studies from the University of Washington.
